So, since April of 2024 I have run an event twice a year in downtown Dartmouth that brings in a fair number of people that don’t go to downtown Dartmouth otherwise. It’s not their normal stomping grounds. Once, @DT_Dartmouth shared our event just once. I have tagged them in… 1/2

Currently held hostage at Cobequid Multiservice Centre by @EHS_NS patient transfer service. We’ve been given 8 times for pick up of my 83 year old mother with advanced dementia to transfer her back to her LTC facility over the last 11 hours.

@CBCNews @globalnews @CTVNews @Halifax We came in because my mother had a pretty severe seizure and @EHS_NS paramedics believed she should be seen here and her LTC home workers agreed to it. We never knew they would maroon us here after she was assessed, blood tests, CT scan and medication adjusted.

Told patient transfer unit would be here at 11:00am, 1:00pm, 2:30pm, 4:00pm, 5:30pm, 7:00pm and now 9:15pm has come and gone. What is up with Nova Scotia’s ambulances @CBCNews @globalnews @CTVNews @halifax
