This is exactly why it pays to read the news. $IREN announced a $2.8B in new AI cloud contracts this morning, giving the market a legitimate reason to reprice the stock higher. Price was already up around 10% during premarket, and the daily chart had also printed a bullish kicker. A bullish kicker is when the previous day’s candle closes bearish, but the next session gaps above that close and buyers immediately take control. Instead of continuing lower, the market completely shifts sentiment and starts trading higher. Our entry here was simple: - a break above the premarket high. From there, we used the levels above as our upside targets and managed the trade as price moved into each one. The news gave us the catalyst and the chart gave the setup.

No, I don't win every trade. 😂 This is a trade I took this week that didn't go in my favor. It was a Failed 2 Up on the weekly, with FTFC to the downside. Everything lined up exactly how I like it an A+ setup. The reality is, even A+ setups lose sometimes. That's trading. One losing trade doesn't mean your strategy is broken. It doesn't mean you should go searching for a new system. Stick to your edge. Manage your risk. Keep taking the same high-probability setups over and over. Consistency comes from trusting your process...not expecting every trade to win.

New long today: $UPS. I've been stalking this multi-month Stage 1 base for a while now, and I really liked the relative strength within the group along with the personality of the chart today. Move up → multi-week base → tightening → inside day... this looks like a potential Stage 2 transition in the making.
