Alright my fellow ADULTS! Im staff for a new, upcoming (2027) convention that will happen in Washington D.C! Capitol FurCon (CFC) This will be a 21+ con like Megaplex. Information Below and more to come! Here is 10 Facts about CFC you need to know 👇 1. Convention just outside Washington D.C. at Gaylord National Harbor Resort and Convention Center. Dates are Feb 25-28, 2027. Extended booking available Feb 22-March 3 at con rates provided we fill our room block!, 2. Great pricing for a resort hotel and D.C. area. $259 regular rooms (king/two queens), $409 suites., 3. Con will have a main stage with rotating DJ line-up and a good sized vendor hall/adult vendor hall. Plenty of panel rooms., 4. Metric ton of DC tourism, all major government museums are FREE at the Mall. (Send list of locations w/ this!), 5. 3 Airports, 2 of which are International Airports. Regan is 10 minutes from convention center., 6. AMAZING HOTEL, Gaylord is top tier. You unironically need to look at the venue. The Atrium is one of the best central hubs to a hotel ever. We have a waterfront!, 7. National Harbor is very safe with tons of food options, a major casino with plenty of entertainment stuff, top golf. Six Flags of America 20-25 mins away for theme park junkies., 8. This is very much a vacation furry con. Our con will be great by itself, but we highly encourage checking out the area with friends to get the most out of it. Tons of great photo opportunities for suiters., 9. Cold weather around 45-55 degrees. Cold but not freezing, also good for suiters., 10. Venue is entertainment and party friendly. We're doing our best to make sure we have a great party atmosphere.
