One of the annoying things about Canada is we have an offence for "personating" a peace officer. But, following the rule of reading criminal offences in as narrow a manner as possible, judges have concluded that only means impersonating a kind of real cop.
So, if you say you are a member of the Red Banner People's Mickey Mouse Brigade and claim to arrest people, while dragging them off? You're ok. You're not pretending to be an actual peace officer.

As many of you already know, Didulo was remanded into custody until a bail hearing on Monday. Didulo said she plans to represent herself. She was defiant and interrupted the judge, claiming she only adheres to "natural law" and claiming she does not consent to being arrested
