Scout salute to Eagle Scout Thomas McAnally of Scouts BSA Troop 196! Thomas was recently honored by the Masonic Valley Lodge No. 175 in Burnet for his leadership in several renovations and improvements made to the historic African-American Stringtown Cemetery in Burnet County.

Capitol Area Council was excited to host the @TrailsEndSnacks National Seminar this week and to meet the two National Top Popcorn-selling Scouts! Top seller Layton S. is from Seattle, WA, Troop #282. He sold $70,595. Jonathan W, the 2nd top seller, sold $69,453 in Scout popcorn!
