@AlexHollings52 Well said brother, the end of that video was perhaps one of the most inspiring of the AirPower series, and that’s saying a lot. 🇺🇸

New video is live! This weekend saw one of the most incredible (and dangerous) combat rescue missions ever mounted... So, let's talk about how it went down, what it cost, and why the US is willing to risk so much for its warfighters. youtu.be/ZuwIkPxH1tc?si…

The admin is incentivized to take a particular set of steps not to lose midterms. This isn’t rolling of the dice. The people in charge of the most powerful economy on earth don’t want to lose midterms and have a lot to lose if they do. Polling isnt predictive this early on and polymarket is wrong. Bribes and price controls are coming.

🚨TRUMP BLAMES HEGSETH FOR WAR PUSH President Trump said Pete Hegseth was among the first to support military action: “Pete, I think you were the first one to speak up. You said, ‘Let’s do it.’”

The US and Israel say they've struck more than 6,400 total targets in the first 7 days of the offensive. That shakes out to a piece of ordnance finding a target roughly every 96 seconds for a week straight.

Yeah I don't like the idea either but thats becasue we grew up and still live in a world where the production of the indivudal matters and varies greatly. And so something like UBI just means free loaders free load while someone else works hard. Thats why it wouldnt work. But with AI, production is equalized and cost trends reverse. The AI does the thinking and the robots do the labor. Humans would have to do very little and therefore performance variance matters a lot less. One would hope that with all that, we could manage, or even have UHI.

Listen i jerked off to Ayn Rand as a kid. I hate the moral hazard of UBI as much as anyone. But there is zero debate it will be needed. The debate should be between if it’s supply side (universal basic services) or demand side (high income + compute stipend). Now what Bernie and his Luddite ilk are going to quickly find out is that unlike politicians who spend most of the time playing retarded status games the average Joe cares a lot more if their family is taken care of financially and if everything is free and he can play COD and drink a beer all day that isn’t as scary as the decels make it sound. Obviously the pitch will be a lot more compelling than that. Cure cancer. Solve crime. Personal education. Sexbots.

Prediction: The Supreme Court will rule in Trumps favor. Immediately after Trump will leverage extension of Obamacare subsidies and moderate relief on student loans to ram through a bill that sends a fairly substantial check to every working American making under $100k. Rough math: 85% of working population = about 140m people with a median income of $50k A 5% wage lift equates to roughly a $3.5k check per person or about $350b This is roughly consistent with the *projected* tariff collections Bessent claims he can collect Remember they have fully manipulated bond markets so that’s not an issue. Next Trump is going to do something unprecedented for a president and campaign into the midterms as if it was a presidential election. Elon will accompany him and spend more than he spent in 2024. They will bring up Kirk’s murder constantly. They will aggressively lean into fraud and use that as an excuse to withhold funds from states that are deep blue. They will tie together welfare fraud and remittances to terrorists in other countries. If they’re smart they will even send people a real check signed by Trump and then a monopoly paper check with a significantly higher amount with the caption: “This is how much you’d be getting if your state wasn’t paying for illegals welfare and healthcare”. And meanwhile real wages will be booming because all those data centers don’t have sufficient blue-collar workers and need to start raising wages. A 1GW datacenter costs $50b in capex roughly. Of that labor is roughly $4b which means there is a tolerance for higher costs at the margin. VZ oil will be used as an excuse to reverse SPR flows if needed to keep a lid on gas prices regardless of geopol vol and what happens in Russia or Iran. And slowly but surely odds of republicans holding the house will climb which in-turn will cement trumps control. Enjoy the weekend - we’re gonna run it so fucking hot 🫡

I’m not on the clock this morning because, for the first time in my life, we’re closing on a house today. When I was born, my family lived in a camping trailer. For most of my life, I just assumed I’d never own a home. That changed thanks to you — the folks who read, watched, liked, and shared my work over the past 10+ years. And I am forever grateful.

A lot of what has motivated me to so publicly tweet about decoupling over the last six months stems from three motivations: 1) to battle-test my assumptions publicly 2) to kickstart a dialogue around what the future might look like and how to navigate once consensus shifted towards accepting a decoupling was being attempted 3) to ensure that in 2027 when people look back and try to write a synopsis they can’t assert that the administration just bumbled into this by happenstance. Now if this all ends badly they also can’t be excused and will hold the blame. This is an incredibly high-risk strategy. But there is a strategy.

🇺🇦 PATRIOTS DOWN BAD - UKRAINE’S MISSILE DEFENSE WITH 6% SUCCESS RATE What started as the West’s golden shield has turned into a $1 billion fire alarm. Ukraine’s U.S.-made Patriot systems are now intercepting just 6% of incoming Russian missiles, down from 42%. Meaning: they’re exhausted, outnumbered, and nearly blind. Retired General Romanenko says the systems are “worn out and overworked” - basically the military version of burnout culture. Russia, meanwhile, leveled up: Its Iskander and Kinzhal missiles now pull evasive maneuvers that make Top Gun look like a tutorial. Even the weather turned traitor - rain and fog jammed radar during last week’s blackout blitz. Germany’s shipping 2 more Patriots, but let’s be real: that’s aspirin for a bullet wound. Ukraine doesn’t just need better weapons. It needs a new playbook. Source: La Razón

🇷🇺🇺🇦 RUSSIAN MISSILES ARE DODGING UKRAINE’S $1B PATRIOT DEFENSES LIKE A VIDEO GAME A retired Ukrainian general just admitted what Kyiv won’t say out loud: Patriot missile systems - the West’s crown jewel of air defense - are almost useless right now. Effectiveness has plummeted from 42% to just 6%, thanks to Russia’s upgraded Iskander and Kinzhal missiles, which now swerve mid-air, drop into steep dives, and confuse the interceptors. Ukraine has only a handful of Patriot batteries, gifted by the U.S, Germany, and the Netherlands, with each one costing roughly $1 billion. Now they’re struggling to stop missiles that basically juke left-right like they’re playing Madden. Last week, Russia launched a massive retaliatory strike, wiping out power across Kyiv and other regions. Zelensky blamed the fog and rain - but the tech gap is growing. Source: RT
