As we do every September, all leagues are currently being updated. Expect full rosters to be completed by the end of the month. Roster Update Timeline: To all users and clients who have inquired about updates over the past month: we do not track live rosters during transfer window periods, focusing instead only on major name transfers. As a yearly reminder, please do not consider rosters fully updated until September 20th and February 20th respectively. This timing allows us to gather salary data from our network of partner clubs and player agencies, in addition to media publications. Our network of contributing clubs and agencies continues to grow rapidly. Enhanced Bonus Tracking: Gross bonuses, which were previously tracked inconsistently across our database on an individual basis, have now been systematically added for every player. Historical data for past years will be incorporated in future updates. Expanded Financial Coverage: Our Financial Statements coverage will expand from 28 to 44 leagues over the coming months, with continued growth planned. This expansion strengthens the foundation for our player estimations. As a reminder, we track base salaries and now, performance-related incentive bonuses for first-team rosters only. We do not include other player-related costs such as image rights, signing bonuses, exit fees, agent fees, and pension costs, which represent a significant percentage of personnel expenses and could skew total figures. New FFP Platform: We've launched our FFP Ratios platform for investment funds and industry professionals, featuring detailed fields extracted from financial notes and processed into advanced financial ratios. Currently available for the Big 5 leagues, with expansion to additional leagues planned. Stay tuned for future announcements!

🏗️ San Donato Milanese council demanded €74,360 reimbursement from Milan-backed SportLifeCity for costs incurred evaluating the abandoned 70,000-capacity stadium project in the San Francesco zone, as detailed by Il Giorno. The bill covers technical studies, external consultations and administrative work over a year, triggered by a clause limiting payouts to €220,000 if the plan fails to materialize—a scenario foreseen since late 2024. Mayor Francesco Squeri outlined the itemized list during a council reply to PD questions, following the program’s closure in January after Milan’s shift to San Siro alongside Inter; the process had advanced in 2024-2025 via a multi-entity agreement involving Lombardy Region, Milan Metropolitan City, FS Sistemi Urbani and RFI. The 300,000 sqm site’s next use floats ideas like basketball facilities tied to RedBird’s potential NBA Europe stake. Source: Il Giorno #ACMilan #SanDonato #StadioMilan #SerieA

⚽️ Lens has rejected PSG’s push to reschedule their April 22 Ligue 1 top-of-table clash, slotted between PSG’s Champions League quarterfinal legs against Liverpool, via an official statement blasting the LFP for potentially turning the league into a flexible add-on for European priorities. Lens noted they privately informed PSG early on and stayed silent amid rising public pressure, but a shift would leave them idle for 15 days then facing a grueling every-three-days schedule, clashing with initial planning and equity principles. PSG countered that rescheduling falls under LFP rules, like Strasbourg’s recent request, and boosts France’s UEFA coefficient—currently sixth—potentially unlocking more European spots for Ligue 1 clubs; approval this week could move the game to May between rounds 33 and 34. As covered by Calcio e Finanza. Source: Onefootball, LFP clubs’ statements #Ligue1 #LensPSG #LFP #ChampionsLeague #Scheduling

🏟️ According to The Times, Manchester United aim to submit the planning application for a new £2 billion, 100,000‑seat Old Trafford next year, once they complete the acquisition of key land next to the current stadium. Negotiations focus on a 100‑acre rail freight terminal owned by Brookfield, with United having offered around £50m against an asking price close to £400m due to relocation costs, but stadium CEO Collette Roche expects a land‑assembly breakthrough by the summer. Roche outlined a roadmap in which, after securing the site within the next couple of months, the club would spend roughly seven months on detailed design (“phase two”) before moving to the formal planning strategy, targeting a 12–18‑month window to file the planning application. She added that United are already engaging major partners and contractors, and that the wider project will be staged: first the new stadium, then housing and regeneration of the existing Old Trafford area, in what the club calls a once‑in‑a‑lifetime redevelopment for Trafford. ⚪🔵 According to the official statement from Olympique de Marseille, Pablo Longoria is no longer the club’s president after reaching an agreement on his exit terms with owner McCourt Global. Longoria leaves after almost six years at OM, having arrived in July 2020 as general manager before replacing Jacques-Henri Eyraud as president in February 2021. During his tenure, Marseille reached the 2022 Europa Conference League semi-finals and the 2024 Europa League semi-finals, and took part in the Champions League in 2022/23 and 2025/26, exiting both times after the first phase. Domestically, the team failed to win trophies, with second place in Ligue 1 behind PSG in 2021/22 and 2024/25 as the best results. In his farewell, Longoria thanked OM for the trust over six seasons and expressed his gratitude to staff, players and supporters for their part in the “adventure”. 🏟️ Palermo FC has formally appointed global architecture firm Populous to design the new Renzo Barbera, after the preliminary services conference on the stadium project confirmed its technical and administrative feasibility and cleared the way for the decisive conference phase. Populous’ Italian team will work with the EMEA headquarters on the redesign of one of the venues still in contention to host Euro 2032. CEO Giovanni Gardini said the club is ready to shoulder most of the investment under a long-term concession, calling the new stadium a modern, functional facility for the whole community and a crucial opportunity for the city. Italian authorities, Palermo’s ownership (City Football Group) and local government all back the project as they push to secure Palermo’s place among Euro 2032 host cities. 🏟️ Freshly re-elected Barcelona president Joan Laporta announced the team will temporarily return to the Johan Cruyff Stadium starting summer 2027 during Camp Nou’s final renovation phase to install the roof, lasting one to one-and-a-half months. Laporta rejected a return to Montjuïc, opting instead to expand Cruyff from 8,000 to 18,000 seats with Sant Joan Despí council backing. He forecasted the completed Camp Nou generating €450 million annually in revenue—up from €125 million now—and stressed the economic recovery’s importance, noting Lionel Messi’s neutrality in the election where rival Víctor Font had pledged his return. ⚖️ According to the Daily Mail, Premier League clubs are furious over Chelsea receiving only a £10–10.75m fine and no points deduction for £47m in secret payments during the Roman Abramovich era (2011–18), including on deals like Eden Hazard. Executives have confronted Premier League CEO Richard Masters and chair Alison Brittain, while Everton, Forest and Leicester—recently penalised for FFP breaches—cite the league’s own Everton ruling that financial sanctions are inadequate for rich owners and sporting penalties are required for integrity. Manchester United reportedly passed on Hazard over a similar £5m agent demand that Chelsea met, later profiting £100m+ on his sale to Real Madrid. 🏟️ According to Calcio & Finanza, the sale of the city-owned Parc des Princes has become a hot political issue in Paris ahead of the mayoral elections, with all major candidates forced to state their positions on PSG’s potential purchase or departure. PSG, under lease until 2044, has offered to buy the 47,000-capacity venue for renovation and expansion, but talks stalled under mayor Anne Hidalgo; now, frontrunner socialist Emmanuel Grégoire (her former deputy) has shifted to openness, proposing a sale with repurchase clause and ring-road burial for a green/commercial district, rejecting PSG’s past €40 million bid as too low. Conservative Rachida Dati backs a sale contingent on PSG funding an adjacent sports quarter, while centrist Pierre-Yves Bournazel eyes sale proceeds for free parking; ultraconservative Sarah Knafo agrees, but far-right Thierry Mariani and leftist Sophia Chikirou oppose. A Harris poll shows 60% of Parisians favour selling to keep PSG in the city, where it would rival Paris FC across the street. Meanwhile, PSG eyes sites in Poissy (north, near training ground) and Massy (south, near Orly), seen by some as leverage on the next mayor. 🏟️ According to Calcio & Finanza, Rome’s city assembly has approved the technical and economic feasibility plan (Pfte) for AS Roma’s new stadium in Pietralata, with 39 votes in favour, five abstentions and none against. The majority backed the project together with Lega, Forza Italia, Azione and Noi Moderati, while Fratelli d’Italia abstained and the Five Star Movement did not take part in the vote. Urban planning councillor Maurizio Veloccia said the political authorisation process is now complete and only the technical phase remains, including a decisive services conference and environmental impact assessment, after which work can begin. His stated hope is to lay the first stone at the start of 2027, in line with UEFA and government deadlines given that the stadium is part of Italy’s Euro 2032 bid. Mayor Roberto Gualtieri called it a historic day for Rome, stressing that the project is designed as an open, year-round urban hub that will regenerate the Pietralata district with new green areas and infrastructure, not just a venue used on match days.
