As a bears fan seeing drew dalman retire sucks. As a former football player, I understand and respect his decision knowing how dangerous the game can be, and the risks associated with it. If you’re going to play, play smart.

Four ways to improve athleticism: 1) Strength Training: Arguably the most important aspect of becoming more athletic. Train with intensity and focus on sport-specific movements. Knowing when to lift weights quickly is crucial for athletic performance. Prioritize compound exercises and understand the principle of progressive overload. As your body adapts, it’s essential to increase the load at the right time and scale back when needed. 2) Mobility: Invest in your mobility. Mobility is key to accessibility. The greater your range of motion, the more you can demand from your body. 3) Speed and Agility: Most sports require quick-twitch muscle responses, directional changes, acceleration, and deceleration, so train accordingly. Recognizing the specific demands of your sport is vital for enhancing athleticism. 4) Nutrition: A diet that supports your physical demands is essential. Focus on nutrient-dense whole foods rich in protein, and always stay hydrated. Consider this: asking a car to drive 100 miles with only 30 miles’ worth of fuel won’t get you Follow for more content on how to become a better athlete. What should your training sessions look like as a football player? It depends. The phase of your season will determine which movements you focus on and the intensity of your training. I recommend that football players prioritize their main compound lifts: bench press, squat, trap bar deadlift, and hang clean. When performed correctly, these four exercises can be highly effective. Each movement is sport-specific and translates well to the demands of competition. It’s also important to identify areas that might be at risk for injury. For a football player, key areas to focus on are the knees, shoulders, ankles, and head. When planning accessory movements around your compound lifts, consider exercises that target these areas to help prevent injuries. As important as strength training is for a football player, it is equally crucial to incorporate sprinting, jumping, and throwing. Football players should engage in plyometric training and sprinting 2-3 times a week to complement their strength training. Performing 10-30m sprints, lateral shuffling, maximal effort jumps, and training rotational power with medicine balls are all vitally important for football players. HOW TO CLIMB THE DEPTH CHART: 1) Master the playbook: Coaches will not place you on the field unless you demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of your responsibilities. 2) Execute with unwavering effort: When carrying out your assignment, it is imperative that you do so with maximum dedication and focus. 3) Prioritize process over results: Concentrate on what is within your control. By committing fully to your role and contributing effectively to the team, your position on the depth chart will naturally improve. Conversely, fixating on your current standing or comparing yourself to others can detract from your performance. 4) Outwork and outperform: Distinguish yourself by consistently excelling in the weight room, going above and beyond in your training, and always pushing for that extra rep. This relentless pursuit of improvement will elevate your skills and set you apart. 5) Maintain consistency both on the field and in the classroom: Academic success is a prerequisite for athletic participation. Consistency in both areas is essential for staying on the field. #athletes #football #sports #NCAAFB #grind #train #workhard

I’m going to make my stance abundantly clear. I don’t care who she slept with. Don’t care about her laugh, I am not going to dehumanize her or disrespect her based on her personal life. Who doesn’t have a past and she is grown. Don’t care if she is too Black for some and not Black enough for others. My decision not to even consider her is based solely on the following: - She created a bail fund for rioters in 2020 who destroyed cities to push a politics agenda. That is terrorism and she helped them skate instead of condemning them. - She supported two propositions in CA that exacerbated crime and made it incredibly difficult to for law enforcement to stop crime. As well as No Cash Bail, even against the will of California voters. Which also put Californians in danger. - She was tasked with solving the border crisis. She only went to the border because she was pressured and all she did was peek at it to find “root causes”. Which is progressive code for “I ain’t gonna do 💩 about this.” - She engages in race baiting and fear mongering. Which lets me know she has zero solutions to the many issues American’s are facing right now. - She is even farther left than Joe Biden. That’s why. I don’t believe she is ready to lead and her politics will slide America further down the crapper. Not because she is a woman. I would gladly and without pause vote for a woman for president. Some of the greatest leaders I ever worked for were women. Just can’t vote for this one because of who she, is not her gender. Has nothing to do with her race. I’m always proud when I see Black people elevate. I don’t just want any Black person. I don’t care about color when it comes to leadership. I just want the leader best capable to lead.
