@ChazakielDoremi Except then when people actually tried it with other people also with scoliosis, it turns out he probably would've been able to do it just fine. There's more reasons why it was upsetting than that. I'm not a historian though. I recommend watching The King Under The Car Park.

@ChazakielDoremi When they dug up Richard III under a car park they found out that the idea of him having a hunchback was actually true, not made up by Shakespeare. And a bunch of people immediately got upset because they couldn't believe that it was possible for him to wear armour and fight.

Reminds me of that time archeologists reconstructed a stone age instrument and demonstrates what it would've sounded like (awful) and then a musician started jamming on it and they went "I highly doubt cavemen were listening to this kind of high tempo stuff"

Polychromy is archaeologists finding traces of the underpainting layer and then pretending finely crafted sculptures were handed to pre-schoolers to paint by number. They even get frustrated by how much “red hair” they find- red is used in underpainting to build warmth for brown.

@POTFES Granted, I don't know much about farming, nor the conditions that these would face. But this show follows space agencies that are much better funded and have had much more dedicated to them. Not to mention their far more advanced vehicles and much more frequent travel/deliveries

@POTFES I think there's a lot of valid criticisms of For All Mankind, my biggest being it's become a bit over the top with asteroid heists and now characters will die and it's no big deal to anyone. HOWEVER I don't think having/making the resources to make a farm is too far fetched.

@Duhlorean98 I'm pretty sure it's a stylistic thing on the hits rather than hiding cuts. Yeah there's some hidden cuts that are quite obvious but the effect you're noticing isn't on just the cuts. Whenever there is a hit, there's normally 1 or 2 frames removed to add more impact.

Normally I'm not one to comment on animation style but I just feel like Toy Story 2/3 got that perfect line between realism and style that 4/5 have just failed to replicate? I don't like all the details, scratches and bumps in every character. I kinda liked the smoothness of it.
