Hey @lululemon I bought my daughter a pair of your $145 leggings and she ended up in the hospital with a severe reaction. Doctors couldn’t pinpoint the cause, but it’s enough to make me seriously rethink supporting your brand. Parents deserve transparency about what’s in these products.

@HubcapNB @tlshields85 Majority governments claim majority of seats in the house, not of popular votes.

@Capt_Phil_ @tlshields85 So what ? Are you fucking retarded ? That’s the entire point They claim majority, when in fact, do not have it. They claim majority based on voter turnout out, but never account for those who abstained, even though, they’re still very Canadian. Only a PSE could be this dense.

Pierre hasn’t lost 1 vote since the election Brian. He’s lost the seat count but not the voters. The voters have been cheated out of their vote. Pierre has no reason to lose sleep tonight. 56.24% of Canadians (representing the majority) did not vote for the Carny Liberals & have been disenfranchised. Mark Carney does not have a majority mandate Canadians are furious to see our election results manipulated in a manner that will impact our democracy. Donald Trump may have ignited a fire 🔥 but Mark Carney has focused all of his energy into ballooning the opportunity into an out of control firestorm to gain personal power through manipulation and negativity. He is not a leader and the majority of Canadians did not vote for him to lead us.
Brian Lilley@brianlilley

Mark Carney will head to bed tonight knowing he has a majority and Pierre Poilievre will feel increasing pressure as his position weakens. The man pushing all of this, stirring the Canadian political waters and shaping our future doesn't even live here. torontosun.com/opinion/column…

@HubcapNB @tlshields85 You can apply same logic to every single majority government by any party in the past 25 years. So what?

@tlshields85 It’s actually much more than 56%. Only 64% of Canadians voted, & the con Carney only managed to get 43% of those voters. That works out to roughly 1/3 of all Canadians. Meaning 2/3 of Canadians abstained or voted for someone else. No where near a majority. That’s fact.

@tlshields85 Popular vote doesn’t matter in FPTP. Harper never received more than 50% of popular vote, so his terms were also not legitimate. You people need to attend a high school civics course

@JasminLaine_ If the other 8 suspected PC MPs cross over after the Liberals win the two seats today, that’s the consequence of bad leadership.

Every single pundit talking about this on the news/social media knows this, yet no one is saying it. Why are these floor crossers different? Because they are changing the outcome of the election result. It’s not just the someone crossed and it’s really of no consequence to anyone but their community who voted for them. This is changing a minority parliament (which Canadians have not voted for since we saw what liberals did with one the last time around), to a majority one. That’s the difference. That’s why this matters so much. So spare me with your “oh it’s legal”, “this happens all the time”, how on earth can this be a “common thing that happens all the time, and everyone should shut up about it” when it’s the FIRST time in HISTORY this has happened in Canadian Democracy. Either admit you don’t care if the election outcome changes against voters wills, and you’d prefer if we had one party rule that voters don’t decide—or stop arguing semantics and pretending everyone else is as stupid as you wish they were.

🚨 President Trump just posted this powerful painting on Truth Social. Trump stands radiant in a red robe, laying hands on a sick man while surrounded by American symbols, the flag, eagles, fighter jets, the Statue of Liberty, and everyday heroes.

What do Liberal strategists want Canadians to focus on? 1) Pierre blew his 20-point lead 2) Pierre lost his riding 3) Pierre needs to change What do they want you to avoid thinking about? 1) Pierre has been driving the conversation around everything that actually matters—housing affordability, the cost-of-living crisis, the carbon tax, crime, and ACTUALLY getting Canadian resources to market... not just talking about it. 2)The Liberals straight-up conceded to Pierre’s best ideas because they had no choice. Carney’s very first act as PM in March 2025 was cancelling the consumer carbon tax (the “fuel charge”) that Pierre had fought for years under “Axe the Tax.” The Liberals also copied Conservative-style tax relief for first-time homebuyers and middle-class families. Pierre won the policy debate so thoroughly that even his opponents had to adopt his platform to survive. 3)Pierre’s Conservatives were 2.5 points from winning. They gained +25 seats across the country while the Liberals limped into a minority government. Pierre’s ideas resonated with millions of Canadians who want real change, not slogans. (And yes, he lost Carleton in the upset—but roared back in the August by-election with over 80% of the vote in Battle River-Crowfoot.) Reality is different from party talking points... repeated word for word by faceless accounts on social media and pundits who benefit financially from the party being in power on the news.

Pierre Poilievre is one of the best Conservative leaders we've had, and the only one who can keep Conservatives united and defeat the Liberals in the next election. Conservatives must stay united behind Pierre and not let the left and mainstream media demoralize and divide us.

BREAKING: Poilievre in favour of recall legislation when an MP crosses the floor. Huge step in the right direction. We need national recall legislation (not just for floor crossers). Voters are the boss and should be able to fire politicians between elections.
