the reason i prefer having fewer followers is because this account is more or less a chronicle of how far i've come as a person. i rarely hide any information that's on my mind, here on twitter. this is good, because i've always found a traditional journal hard to keep.

@DEUS_WF I get it, but also, invisibility has always been a binary state of some description. It's a buff like any other. Ash has a painfully short time on his, but it buffs his energy economy, Loki is... well, loki, and cyte requires headshots to stay invis. Ivara gets loot and a debuff

@CaptainAbsol Coming back to how many stealth frames we have, if they were all the same stealth mechanic, I honestly wouldn't know if I would like Ivara anymore. Im not even joking, Her prowl is what made me interested in her in the first place

@DEUS_WF I'd say what's actually unique about prowl is that it breaks invis when you slide, and temporarily breaks if you fire something that isn't silenced. That alone gives it the thematic sauce. The additional speed debuff, however, is still dumb. Or if they make infiltrator default

@CaptainAbsol I agree on sound arrow, but strongly disagree with the Prowl, It isn't dumb, its unique, We have so many stealth frames bound to time limited abilities, while Ivara is the ONLY one who uses energy drain. Its also on theme, Hunters arnt quick, even wild animals STALK their target

@xpertfusion3 How is Cold War's perk system worse than BO4? isn't it the same as BO6 but the perk cost starts at 2500 instead of 2000 or something? Unless you mean the upgrades. Which i kind of agree with, but mule kick just giving you the third weapon back on repurchase should be default

I’ll give a few Unpopular Opinions I have about Perks in Zombies… • Perk Upgrades should be in-game (not like Vanguard though), it should be through completing challenges with the Perk equipped in-game to unlock new upgrades for it. • Augments are cool, but should NOT become a staple to every Zombies game. Wouldn’t mind seeing a new version of Augments that requires you to unlock them in-game every match (like what I mentioned above) • Majority of people would NOT have a problem with a Perk Limit returning, as long as EVERY map had multiple ways of obtaining extra perk slots and/or free perks (enough to get all perks) • Not every Perk should be on every map. We haven’t had that since like IW, but it’s something I miss. I can at least appreciate how BO6 handles it with the Wunderfizz not unlocking until Round 25, so you are limited to the physical Perk Machines, but BO7 ruined that. • Wunderfizz should go back to giving out Perks randomly. • We don’t really need THAT many new perks. We have SOO many in BO7 already, Treyarch should put most of their focus into map-unique content instead. • The ability to remove a perk, directly from the machine, only being in Infinite Warfare is blasphemous. • Black Ops Cold War had a TERRIBLE Perk System. Arguably worse than Black Ops 4. • Black Ops 4’s Perk System could’ve been fixed with just a few simple changes. • Juggernog, Double Tap, and Speed Cola not being in Black Ops 4 was NOT the problem with that Perk System. • We should consistently get different themes for Perks in different Zombies games (God Statues, Perk Candies, Demonic Fountains)

@DEUS_WF This all stems from wanting a frame i find interesting to be better, though. There are other frames in more dire need of a rework, but ideally, a reason to play a frame should take precedent over a thematic resonance, even if that sentiment kinds accelerates power creep

@DEUS_WF "Rework" is just a blanket term. Imo: - noise arrow becomes some kind poison tipped arrow - invis debuffing your movement speed is dumb when no other invis source cripples you like that - navigator hold function that makes non-aoe precision weapons track to heads like Scourge

Dogshit in bo6. Gives you the Origins punch as offhand but forgets to give you any amount of range to go with it. Like an additive melee damage boost that falls off too hard past round 30. Only one or two augments even work on dedicated melee weapons

@HubPointless I would use grogu like in borderlands 3 where you run over the skags to mulch them into biofuel for their spaceship

Considering the next Zombies is Takeo’s map, it would be really nice to have a tribute in it for Tom Kane. Maybe a Cherry Blossom tree with his name engraved in it.
