As an Eagle Scout, I'm appalled by Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts) for cowering to Trump and Hegseth and agreeing to end DEI. The organization had finally taken long overdue steps to become more welcoming. Now they're regressing ass-backward - for a bigot. Embarrassing.

Trump announces a war in the Middle East in the middle of the night on a Friday wearing a baseball hat. I never thought I would miss the days 20+ years ago when Bush presidency spent months in public hearings giving bullshit reasons for a war in the Middle East.

The governor wants to cut services for the disabled so he can backfill the hole he created by giving millionaires a lavish tax break last year.

Or even better an editorial from your department about the devastation to the families of adults with disabilities that these proposed cuts would cause. It is time to end the silence from @stltoday before it is too late! Thank you!

And yet not a word about any of this from the largest newspaper in Missouri. As a longtime Post-Dispatch subscriber I would love to see a story about the numerous Missouri families fighting against these proposed budget cuts.

Hey @tonymess why have all of the major newspapers across Missouri written stories and opinions on the massive and disastrous budget cuts to developmental disability services proposed by the Kehoe administration and so far not a word from @stltoday?

Last year, the governor signed special tax giveaways for the ultra wealthy. This blew a hole in the budget. To fill that hole, he now wants to take money from people with disabilities. Outrageous.
