Based on that one tweet, I've put together a ranked list of all the movies I've watched that could reasonably be considered to feature racing motorsports lol. I guess at least F1 makes the top ten.

First of all, people are seriously suffering from "main character syndrome" if they think a message about "saving the world" is applicable or relatable. Second, if this deleted scene wasn't on the blu-ray, nobody would be complaining about its deletion. Y'all cry bout everything.

Counterpoint: the most important line in the entire movie is "anybody can wear the mask" - an expression of its visually versatile ethos and its inspiring "be yourself and you'll be capable of anything" messaging - and the movie is perfect as released.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has a deleted scene where Peter tells Miles it’s impossible to save the whole world “Stop trying to save everyone. Start with one person.” Sony cut it from the final film It’s the most important line in the entire movie

Hell nah, I didn't like Mickey17 but I'm very much glad that Bong got final call outright. Ain't no goddamn way I'm gonna shit on a guy who gave me 7 consecutive movies I dug and one that I didn't lol.
Variety@Variety

Bong Joon Ho says "sh*t on me if you didn't like" #Mickey17, not the studio. "Director’s final cut was part of my contract and everyone at the studio and at my agency tried their best to protect me. Of course, during post production, there was lots of discussions and a lot of opinions going back and forth, but it wasn’t ever like someone was forcing something on me or giving me pressure. And so luckily, all my films have been released as my director’s final cut, even a movie as big as 'Mickey 17,' and all the good parts of that film and all the bad parts of that film came from me. I take full responsibility. So shit on me if you didn’t like it!" variety.com/2026/film/glob…

Been said before but like 90% of the discourse on here is either someone beefing with exactly one person or being afraid to talk to someone in their life and making it everyone’s problem

@ReedRolling Also I don't think a cult classic needs to be reviled at first. Cult classics can be films that went unnoticed by most people at first, they're just films that have a cult followign

@RasberryRazz Stewart did have a liberal moment in Liberty Valance when he had Woodie Strode read parts of the Constitution. Stewart was like Capra in whch he was a small town libertarian with dislike of corporate domination.

People arguing this doesn’t meant James Stewart was racist. Stewart publicly endorsed re-electing Jesse Helms in 1990, considered one of the most racist politicians in United States history. I adore his films but he most definitely held racist views.
Molly🎧🏳️‍🌈@RasberryRazz

A great reminder that James Stewart was conservative was remembering he rejected the role of Atticus Finch cause he thought the script was “too liberal”. Yeah. A film showcasing the miscarriage of justice Black men faced in the Deep South was “too liberal” for Jimmy.

Hindsight may be 20/20 but I don't think you need hindsight to recognize a bunch of obsessives camping out your hotel would not be able to treat your baby like a person.

Look, I get Michael probably had no idea because he had a fucked up fame-and-pain-driven upbringing and I'm glad he at least had the insight to want to protect his baby's identity, but the only right answer to the fans would have been "shut the fuck up, you're not seeing my kid"
DEDE!@minutesimal_

Michael Jackson’s fans wanted to see his youngest child, Blanket Jackson, so he briefly showed him through a window. However, the media reported it as if he was attempting to throw the child down
