With Rocco Becht limited and Alex Manske now heading to surgery and out for spring — Barry just became the most important quarterback on the practice field. Here is who he is. He started at Appalachian State. Transferred to Christopher Newport in Virginia. Started 22 games. Threw for 5,561 yards and 55 touchdowns. Last season he led Christopher Newport to its first ever undefeated regular season. 10-0. Second in the entire country in passing efficiency. Division III All-American. Gagliardi Trophy semifinalist — the Division III Heisman. When he committed to Penn State he said "I believe in what Penn State is building right now with Coach Campbell and the staff.
