We’ve had female leads in gaming for decades. Jill Valentine, Lara Croft, Samus Aran, Aloy, Bayonetta, and plenty more. Nobody’s forcing you to play the new GOW. If the character fits the story and the game is good, that’s what should matter. Some of ya’ll act like gaming is ending because a woman is on the cover. Meanwhile, most of us just want a good game to play. Judge the gameplay, the story, and the writing not whether the protagonist is a dude or a woman.
