I'm not nervous. I'M EXCITED! It's strange because having supported the Villa for 32 years, I should really know better 😅 Yes, we could end up "doing a villa" again, but this time... I BELIEVE! These lads have blown our collective minds over the last 4 years under Unai. I have seen games that have left me in sheer disbelief. But the moment I knew this team was special was when we beat City at VP the first time under Emery. The way we moved, passed and dominated left me stunned. It did not compute in my brain. It actually didnt make sense. My eyes swelled watching us play them off the park and it wasn't even 30 minutes into the game. I knew we'd win that day and when Bailey scored... Wow. This is the feeling I'm getting from this game. Its a feeling thats been repeated over and over again. Arsenal a few days after that city game. Bayern for the UCL. PSG at home. Arsenal at home this season. And of course Forest and LFC in the last few weeks. As fans we know our club better than any pundit or talking head. Dibu said it out loud in the presser yesterday... We have spent the least of any club and in those terms have no right to be where we are. But these lads EARNED IT. THEY FOUGHT FOR IT. We hear over and over how Unai is obsessed with matches and strategy and planning. And this game? Its the biggest. I trust the lot of them. Now I know some are questioning if the lads will turn up today. Spurs, Go Ahead Eagle, Olympiacos and definitely Palace at Wembley last season... They've broken our hearts before. But this is truely different. The last Final we reached was under Dean Smith and our striker was Ally flipping Samatta! These lads are different gravy. Ezri's letter hit each and every one of us in the feels yesterday. My wife, whose a primary school teacher that has no interest in footy told me how her colleagues were welling up reading it and how hyped they felt. Theres something special in the air. Theres a togetherness on a level I haven't seen with our club before. So to each and every one of my fellow Villans, whether you're in Instanbul, Birmingham, Canada, Ghana, Austrailia, the States, Iraq, Bangladesh, Spain, Brazil orbthe surface of the sun... Whether you're at the stadium, watching it on a big screen somewhere or at home with your loved ones... UP THE VILLA!!!! 👊🏾🦁

All we ask for in the Premier League is consistency in the rulebook. If something is a foul in 1 game it needs to be a foul in the same circumstance. Regardless of who’s playing Regardless of who’s on duty at Stockley Park The level needs to be consistent.
