To whom it may concern (and I use that term loosely),
I am in receipt of yet another one of your fear-mongering, urgency-filled pieces of junk mail dated 05/04/2026. Let me be crystal clear, since previous verbal and written requests have apparently bounced off your corporate skull like rain on a windshield:
I am not interested.
I have never been interested.
I will never be interested.
I have already told your representatives — nicely, then not-so-nicely — to remove me from your calling list, mailing list, email list, smoke-signal list, and whatever other invasive channels you use to harass people. Your continued bombardment after explicit demands to stop constitutes nothing short of corporate harassment.
Your letter claims my factory warranty has expired and I’ll be “responsible for paying for any repairs.” Congratulations on stating the obvious about a 2010 vehicle. I am fully aware of how cars work. What I don’t need is a predatory extended warranty outfit that’s been slapped by the FTC with multimillion-dollar settlements for deceptive practices pretending to be my savior.
Consider this letter your final warning.
Cease. All. Contact. Immediately. Do not call, mail, email, text, or otherwise attempt to communicate with me again. Any further contact will be treated as intentional harassment. I will document it, report it to the FTC, FCC, my state Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau, and anyone else with a pulse and a complaint form. I will also explore every available consumer protection avenue, including potential legal action for invasion of privacy and violation of do-not-contact requests. I am listed on the do not call registry and have been since 2017.
You are not entitled to my time, my attention, or my money. Stop acting like you are.
Remove my information from your systems today.
I expect confirmation of removal within 10 business days. Failure to do so will result in further action.
Do not test me on this.
Any future calls from this day going forward will be recorded and turned over to my attorney then I am going to shame your company like I have waited to do for years. X, Facebook, whatever it takes to get you off my back and to stay in your lane and out of mine. If I was in anyway unclear in my request then consult with your corporate attorney and see what they have to say about Corporate Harassment. It will not be good for you guys I promise you that. I’m so looking forward to lighting that match and watch it all burn down.

The temporary deductible only applies during the first 3 months to help ensure the vehicle is running properly and does not have any pre-existing conditions. We understand that unexpected issues can still happen during that time, which is why claims can still be filed after the waiting period is met — they are just subject to the temporary deductible during that initial period.

@stephenasmith I can’t believe you are doing those @CarShield commercials. You know that they had a 10 million dollar judgment against them for false advertising. Also they have a 1000 deductible as well as a 10000 limit for claims on a car on the few claims they pay. Do better

@Numb40175438 @stephenasmith There are inaccuracies to this information. In 2024, we voluntarily resolved a matter with the FTC. The matter involved a spokesperson who made an inaccurate statement about having coverage when none existed; it was unrelated to any failure on our part to pay valid claims.
