An interesting article. Our population is absolutely ageing, no doubt about it. Services to meet the needs of these people are variable depending on your eircode & demand is extremely high. Things need to improve drastically to manage the challenges ahead. irishtimes.com/health/2024/10…

Love listening to my patients' stories & interesting anecdotes from their lives. As an OT, it's one thing we do best, gathering a person's occupational narrative or life story. Unfortunately, I don't always have enough time to listen to the whole story 😕
