From ETBs to UPCs, there is a loaded lineup on the way and one has to wonder just how much printing resources Pokemon has allocated to this set specifically. 🤔 Either way, hopefully the shelves are filled to the brim and everyone is able to enjoy the celebration of Pokemon in it's 30th year!

It's always fun when a new set releases to see how it affects the current Meta. Personally, I can't wait to get my hands on Mega Darkrai and build a Frankenstein deck that everyone keeps telling me is garbage. I don't care lol But really, I think what I love the most about new set releases is when one player cracks a code for a card that everyone else wrote off. Seeing cards like Mega Absol come out of no where and wreck shop is always a blast. I wonder if there will be anything from Pitch Black that does the same 🧐

What if the grading company saw this video and refused to grade simply for the meme?💀

The age old question: When should I buy singles for the latest set? Typically, you should never consider buying singles until AT LEAST 14 days after a set releases, specifically for mid to low end chases (IRs, Full Arts, etc.) When considering picking up the higher end cards (your Meowth EX, Mega Greninja, or in this case Mega Darkrai) the general rule is to wait until around six months after a set releases. This gives the market enough time to settle and allows for other collectors to move on to newer sets, allowing for previous chase cards to fly under the radar. More recently, however, there has been a slight shift where the market price is beginning to settle after wave two of products are released by distribution. This took place specifically with the Mega Greninja SIR, which would put your new window closer to a 2 month time frame after release. Either way, it's best to always pay attention to what the market is doing for your specific chase via TCG player, ebay, or other seller platforms. Happy hunting!

@Card_Shop_Guys I gave my 4 yr old a perfect order pack to rip. He got bored and tossed it into the bulk pile he usually plays with. I didn’t know where the cards went so when it was time to clean up I told him to put them away, he didn’t want to so I did and found the SIR Meowth in the bulk.

Every great pull has a story with it. I want to share the story of this Giratina V with you. A few years ago I ordered a Dialga Vstar box from Amazon. They sent me the wrong box. They decided to send me a Palkia Vstar box instead. This really bummed me out cuz at the time I was trying to build a Dialga Vstar deck. On top of that, the box was damaged and beat to hell. I debated sending the box back, but ultimately decided to keep it and just order another Dialga Box instead. As I opened the box I realized there were only five packs instead of the six it was supposed to come with. I opened them and pulled nothing. Annoyed, I went to throw the box away and heard something shift. Lo and behold, there was one lone Lost Origin pack tucked away in the box fold, and inside was this bad boy 🤯 The amount of things to go “right” in this scenario is crazy to me. Tell me your wildest story for a card in your collection.

@Card_Shop_Guys Also pulled this from a damaged Lost Origin Display I bought for 180 from a private seller. It arrived crushed in a shoe box and I was so mad I cause I didn‘t even want to open it… anyway hit Giratina V and Pikachu VMAX! Best eBay seller ever!
