I had 0 acceptances for 3 submissions for ICER 2022, and 0 acceptances for 2 submissions for SIGCSE 2023. Disappointing, but it happens.

@VicariousLee @AcademicChatter and partially because I’ve seen a similar dynamic with students: my white students have generally been more comfortable with calling faculty by their first name while students of color typically use the honorific.

I'm getting the sense that many more professors now prefer students use honorifics (Dr., Prof.) when referring to them, which I am fine with and understand. Is that happening around you as well? @AcademicChatter #AcademicTwitter #AcademicChatter
