@elonmusk I had a dream about this 40 years ago! There was a shop on the moon, and the walls were some type of glass. What a view! Unfortunately, I won't live to see it, but God allowed me to experience it in a different way.

Something I told 14 yo: There's a kind of politician who tells people "Your life is bad because <outgroup> stole what's rightfully yours. Vote for me and I'll get it back for you." They do it on both the left (Lenin) and right (Hitler), and they're invariably bad news.

No expectations. No noise. Just tears and prayer. “God, please.” I walked. Prayed. Listened. Praised. Cried. As I rounded the path and came across a clearing, there in the water was a deer. Quietly drinking. It looked up at me for a moment, then continued on peacefully. Immediately Psalm 42 rushed over me: “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.” And in that moment, God spoke without saying a word. Oh, how I need Him. In every moment of every day. Every decision. Every step. Every breath. Not just in crisis. Not just when I’m hurting. But always. Because this world will disappoint us. People will fail us. Life will exhaust us. But God remains steady. Present. Faithful. And sometimes, if we get quiet enough, creation itself reminds us that our souls were always meant to thirst for Him. Maybe “there” isn’t a place at all. Maybe “there” is wherever we finally become still enough to hear Him again.

@MilosParrots @EricCliett Rattlesnakes are always actively trying to kill you, and it's my word against the snake's. I'll never meet that desert green, thankfully, but I do know I could hardly stand to be in a room full of rattlesnakes.

@CardiRedBird @EricCliett Rattlesnakes are SUPPOSEDLY a "Protected species" in ILL-ANNOYED rather than a "Nuisance species" and one is not legally allowed to kill them unless they are actively trying to kill you. Also. Did you know the most venomous rattlesnake is the desert dwelling green rattler? It is.

@EricCliett I should point out that ILL-ANNOYED does have both Eastern Diamondbacks and Timber rattlesnakes and mainly well south of the Springfield area. I myself have never actually seen an ILL-ANNOYED rattlesnake. But I saw more than a few in TEXAS! BY GOD!
