Another Inkabi Records Signee, Mduduzi Ncube, Might Be On His Way Out After Confirming He Is Dropping a Single Under His Own Company Award-winning singer Mduduzi has confirmed that his next single will be released under his own company, Blvck Bird Entertainment, with Virgin Music SA backing the rollout. The announcement marks a bold new chapter for the artist, but has also raised questions about his current standing with Inkabi Records, the label owned by Big Zulu. Mduduzi, who hails from Hammarsdale township outside Durban in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), shared the news on his social media pages. He revealed that he and his crew were preparing to release new music under his “new born baby,” Blvck Bird Entertainment. However, the timing of the announcement has raised eyebrows, as Mduduzi is widely known to be signed to Inkabi Records. The speculation comes on the heels of similar rumors surrounding another Inkabi artist. On Tuesday, social media was abuzz with reports that singer Musiholiq was uncertain about his future at the stable. According to reports, Musiholiq left Inkabi within six months of being announced as their latest signee. Musiholiq runs his own recording company, First Class Entertainment, which is home to singers Naledi Aphiwe and Okwanda Zulu. Sources suggest that communication between Musiholiq and Inkabi management had broken down, prompting his departure. “The guy is stressed, but at least his company First Class Entertainment is doing very well. He signed Naledi Aphiwe and Okwanda, and they are doing great,” a source revealed. The source further alleged that there may have been ulterior motives behind the signings. “They were jealous of him and opted to sign him to destroy his talent. They are doing the same thing with Mduduzi Ncube after he discovered Fanatic. They decided to sign him so that he cannot be bigger than Stallion production-wise. They fear competition.” Another insider added, “The working relationship was not working between the two parties, and he has moved back to his stable called First Class Entertainment. He must focus on his artists and continue releasing music under his company. They have stopped posting anything related to his career.” When contacted for comment, Musiholiq neither confirmed nor denied the allegations. “I don’t know what’s happening, my brother. You need to contact them at Inkabi Records. They will explain better, they are the best people to speak to. I’m in the dark, and things are not happening. So I have my own company and artists, and I think I have to focus on growing,” he said. Efforts to reach the management at Inkabi Records were unsuccessful, as they ignored calls and WhatsApp messages. Both Mduduzi and Musiholiq declined to comment, directing all inquiries to the label.

Cyril Ramaphosa to Unveil R22 Million Mandela and Tambo Statues in Durban President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to unveil two R22 million bronze statues honouring struggle stalwarts Nelson Mandela and Oliver Tambo in Durban today. The Mandela statue will be erected at the Moses Mabhida Stadium precinct, while Tambo’s statue will stand along the beachfront promenade. The project, commissioned by the eThekwini Municipality, aims to honour the leaders’ role in South Africa’s liberation struggle and boost heritage tourism, though the multimillion-rand price tag has sparked public debate.

Naledi Aphiwe Apologises to Zimbabwean People After Negative Comment She Made Award-winning singer Naledi Aphiwe has apologised to Zimbabweans following a comment she made on social media which did not sit well with them. This stems from a negative remark she made where she described how South Africa was experiencing an influx of Zimbabweans and suggested they should consider moving back to their country of origin. On Tuesday, Naledi Aphiwe, whose real name is Naledi Aphiwe Mnyongwane, wrote a statement clarifying her position on that particular comment and apologised to Zimbabweans. "Social media never forgets, and I've been reminded of a comment I made a few months ago. I want to address it properly instead of ignoring it. First, I want to make it clear that my words were never meant to disrespect Zimbabweans or come from a place of hate. I understand that intentions don't always translate well online, and I can see how what I said may have hurt or offended people. For that, I sincerely apologise. "I am still young and I'm constantly growing, learning, and understanding the weight that words can carry, especially on social media. I don't claim to be perfect, and when I make mistakes, I believe in owning them and learning from them. This has definitely been a moment of reflection for me. Please don't misunderstand my heart or define me by one comment." Naledi said her comment was not deeply rooted in negativity. "I respect people from all backgrounds, and I would never intentionally spread hate. I hope we can move forward with understanding and give each other grace. I genuinely wish peace for everyone involved – one love," she said.
