@MedRimsha @BetsiCadwaladr @WelshAmbulance @MedSocBangor That would be great for you guys if possible! We are essentially tagging along with the schemes in Bangor and Wrexham, but if you guys set up your own scheme / were trained up, there’s no reason you couldn’t do the same!

Excited to announce we now have a branch of our scheme set up in both Bangor and Wrexham, meaning our med student CFRs can go on shifts when on placement in @BetsiCadwaladr. Many thanks to the @WelshAmbulance CFR schemes in North Wales for supporting us to achieve this

COVID-19 caused challenges for us, leading to our scheme being inactive from March until students could returned to Cardiff and be PPE trained. However, we still have achievements to share! 2020 was a difficult year and we hope, alongside the rest of the world, for a better 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our Community First Responder, Bryan Foley. Bryan volunteered hundreds of hours of service to his local community during 15 years with #TeamWAST. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues at this difficult time.

Unfortunately due to current circumstances we have temporarily stopped responding, in the best interests of our patients and community. Where possible we will help the NHS during this time and get back to responding when safe to do so. Stay safe everyone!
