He won this twice in his five years with us, showing to us that this is a truly deserved honour. This decision has been agreed with his family, and the first Dan Finch Award was handed out at our end of year dinner in June. We miss you, Finch, and we'll do you proud.

No Frills is proud of the atmosphere of enthusiasm and togetherness it tries to provide, and Finch was a great facilitator of this. To create a legacy for Finch, we have made the decision to rename our Club MVP (most valuable person) award to the Daniel Finch Award.

In December last year, Cardiff Ultimate alumni, previous Club Captain, and undisputed club legend Dan Finch tragically lost his life in a freak accident. Finch, as he was affectionately known, was an inspiration to many, a great teacher to new players, and a friend to all of us.

The ultimate grudge match. The chance to disprove all the "you can't have two dark kits" haters wrong. And we're doing it to raise money so that @crisis_uk can carry out more of their amazing work, fighting homlessness across the country. A link to them can be found in our bio.

UMWON 2022 Women couldn't catch the illusive W but improved so much as a team, considering for some players it was their first tournament(!!) Men come back with a silver medal after a very close final to Cambridge. Played their hearts out, no regrets. On to varsity, and UXON.

On Saturday our women's team hosted the second BUCS day, v Swansea & Bristol. A 5-player Swansea put up great resistance but ultimately we came out on top. We couldn't do the same against Bristol, in a windy huck-heavy game. Either way, second in the region ain't bad! C U @ UWON!
