@AirbusRed Judging by all the carefully removed window surrounds I suspect someone has an eye to making a few quid from it, besides the parting out for maintenance of other 747s
@Sx60Contrails I'm in Pembs this weekend but with easterly wind it wouldn't approach over the house. Taking the scenic route though right out over the Celtic Sea
@Sx60Contrails Cheers, had heard it was on its way. Photo later, though made an atypical approach so was futher away. Annoyed I missed getting a shot of the New England Patriots B767 which went east n of Cardiff earlier
@markparbhoo Some 14 hours later here's @markparbhoo and G-ZBLA over Cardiff at 08:05 this morning descending through FL300 on the approach to LHR - looks like you had a nice view this morning
Air France B777 F-GSQV 7 miles above Surrey on the way to LAX (hey @CardiffOTT I’m having a go at trying to emulate your excellent over the top photos using my D500 and my Nikkor 800mm f5.6 AI-S lens - hope you approve!)
@PaulBrinkworth2 My go to is signup.360radar.co.uk it's web-based and you have to pay £21 a year but well worth it for UK tracking. There are others available but 360 has the best graphics by far
@foxyknoxy99 Stacking can reduce noise and preserve details enough to allow you to enlarge the file in PS so that a frame filling shot of the moon can go from c1400px to c2500px (D500+500f4+1.4x)
@RobbbinG@NWSAcaster@Su39frogfoot Clouded out here too unfortunately, though did see it on its way north on 27/06. Let's hope there's a clear slot for Atlantique 16 FNY5110 which is following it south, currently over the Lake District
