New results at #EACL2026 🎉 RAG is effective for reducing hallucinations — but it’s not all roses. We show that RAG can amplify social bias when retrieved documents are stereotyped, even if the base LLM is relatively unbiased. Evaluating RAG ≠ evaluating the LLM alone.
