a few new players in this week to boost the squad which has been dessimated by call offs and injuries all season. fingers crossed its a step in the right direction.

First post for a couple of weeks and a challenging couple of weeks for the team at that. firstly a 6 1 defeat away to toll cross in the league, followed by a comprehensive 11 0 defeat from @EKRRAFC in the cup. all the best to both clubs for the season.

result cardross o @U21sThistle 5 only 11 players today leaving us with a mountain to climb from the off. Thistle better in every department and only team that were winning today . a vast improvement in numbers and performance required as we travel to tollcars AFC next week.

@steinsclub hopefully see you guys back at it next season, very impressed by you when we played a couple of seasons ago. saturday afternoon football is on a horrible slide that im not convinced can be recovered. we would have folded this season had we not transferred to the mornings.

@ClydebankAFC was more the allegation of thuggish tackles, deliberately injuring, no protection from the ref comments, from a game we collected a couple of yellow cards and as many injuries as you have quoted. never tagged us but did tag the league. very gracious indeed sir. 🫡

Always gracious in defeat giving your team full credit the separate post was about self employed players getting injured and losing income! You jumped on it when you weren’t tagged or named! Maybe take some responsibility. We won’t be drawn into a social media argument or commenting further.

Lost another two players to injury yesterday with outrageous tackles, self employed players are increasingly at risk of losing income due to thuggish tackles in what amounts to a hobby!! We play this game because we love football but when players are intentionally injured it’s a disgrace!! Refs bang on about respect but when no protection is offered to players it works both ways! I’m sure this post won’t go down well but something needs to be done!! Since the start of the season we’ve had 12 players injured which directly impacted their employment!! No wonder the amateur game is in trouble! @GGPAFL

@ClydebankAFC sure he will once its on. ps, hope any boys that got injured have a speedy recovery, the boys from both teams- yeah your angels hurt a few of our boys as well by the way. didnt take to twitter with an Agenda though. stay gracious my man in victory or defeat. 👍

@CardrossAFC 3-2 Clydebank Worst I’ve seen us play so far, didn’t deserve anything from the game a lot of players can’t make early kick offs but the team that started was absolutely good enough to win that! scoreline was a bit harsh but the better team definetly coming out on top. with a few new players coming in and a few returning after lay offs we look to kick on. a week off next week before glasgow Harp in the league. All the best to @CastlemilkObc for the rest of the season 🤝

Result- cardross 1 v @CastlemilkObc 7 down to the bare bones again with 11 players availible, against the odds we took the lead and held it until around the hour mark, castlemilk stepped it up after getting back level and tired legs allowed them to run away with it in the end.

all the best to @westerlandsafc AM and we look forward to locking horns again later in the season. 🤝 a step up next week when we welcome a top @CastlemilkObc side to Station Park in the West.

Result @westerlandsafc AM 2 v Cardross 0 played some excellent football at times but yet again mistakes in the first half cost us and allowed westies to get ahead and hold the lead. a game we never got the rewards for the boys effort, disapointed but we go again.

RESULT Cardross 0 @HoustonAmateurs 5 out at the first hurdle in this year's Scottish. skeleton squad for the second week in a row but never gave ourselves a chance. poor goals conceded and not enough created. work to be done. all the best to @HoustonAmateurs for the season. 🤝
