@TwinsAlmanac @Jason69452025 For sure! I was at a show in Myrtle Beach where Dennis Rodman was signing autographs. A guy at a table had a binder of all Kirby Pucketts (about 250 total) for $200. 84 was the big one, but there was also 85 Donruss, Fleer, Topps, and OPC. Got Rodman's autograph too!

Kirby Puckett played 3B, SS, and 2B in the ninth and 10th innings on this date in 1992. It was Boston pitcher Frank Viola’s first game back at the Metrodome, and he pitched well, but the Twins walked it off against Jeff Reardon in the 10th. In the 10th, Kent Hrbek reached on a fielder’s choice for the first out. Boston then brought in their closer Jeff Reardon. With reigning Rookie of the Year Chuck Knoblauch at-bat, Hrbie stole second and advanced to third on an error on the play, then scored the walk-off run on an infield-single by Knoblauch. Tom Kelly was pulling a lot of strings late in this game, but I think what Kirby playing infield boils down to is Hrbek pinch-hitting for the shortstop Greg Gagne in the bottom of the eighth. TK brought Kirby into the infield, and I’m guessing moved him around each at-bat to where he was least likely to be hit to. (And he wasn’t.) The Twins used 14 position players in the game.

@Jason69452025 @TwinsAlmanac I found the 84 Fleer Update in a binder of Pucketts last summer! 85 OPC was in there too!

@TwinsAlmanac That damn card has eluded me. The 93' Stadium club, 85'Leaf, the Topps Finest r efractors, and the Precision Metals. Anyone? Lol. I can only imagine, the 85' OPeeChee wasn't easy to find mint.

@Very_Cool_Cards Had a few packs of 90 Upper Deck for about five years and opened them last night.

It's also a 2017 bill, which is where Kyle Reese and Sarah Connor went in the 5th movie.

I'm not a currency collector, but this $1 bill has 80497 (Aug 4 1997)... The day Skynet was activated in Terminator! I wonder if it was at 5:15 ET (80497515 E). It's wet because it went through the wash.

I've never submitted a defect claim with Topps before. I know they won't do anything about NM or better. I just noticed this mark on my Murakami /90. Is that enough to drop below NM? I have a picture from 30 seconds after I opened the pack and see it was there. @CardPurchaser

@OffDaHook35 Haven’t watched ESPN in literal years, it’s a shame because they have the sports world in the hand for years because they put out amazing quality sports coverage.

@Cards4Fun4 @CardPurchaser I just sent in pics of a creased chrome murakami from costco flagship collection and they approved and said i don't have to do anything else, they'll just send me a new one. not sure if that would be the same for a numbered card though.
