I like it when veteran guys shit the bed in spring training. Worst thing that can happen is they waste their hot streak on meaningless games. Bummer even said something along these lines a few years ago. Might have been related to Yuli having a hot spring…but I don’t remember I bet Walker is one of our best hitters over the first month!

This is a very geeky video for the catching nuts. If you want to see how catchers frame low pitches and throw from one-knee setups, this Astros C Walker Janek cut-up illustrates both well IMO. Sets the target, takes the mitt down, and then brings it up to catch the ball.
