1. I do not want a new phone (or software upgrades)!
2. I prefer sky photos taken from cameras not attached to phones.

In some ways, it seems like a lot of Texas history is in some way the story of its connections with bricks. This is one of my own photos, taken at a residence in Austin a few years ago. This entire huge patio was covered in old Texas bricks, many of them 100+ years. In this photo we see bricks from the following companies/locations.
McCreery brick - Abilene, Texas
Globe brick - Ferris, Texas (Ferris was a major brick capital in the early 1900s)
Atlas brick - also from Ferris, Texas. The company was started in 1895
C.A. Benton - Corsicana, Texas
Obviously, the bricks from Teague, Navarro, Mexica, Grosebeck, Atlanta, Aurora and Palmer are from brickworks in those towns. Palmer bricks were made by Palmer Pressed Brick Company (later Barron Brick Company) there in Palmer. It operated from approximately 1902 to 1929.
