Our research shows that there is a clear absence of public infrastructure to support (im)migrant workers in general in Manitoba. But for (im)migrant #careworkers, who often work in private, domestic and/or unionized sectors, there are even less resources to access.

‼️ question Chris (@j4mw) posed is one that our team reflects on: "Who benefits from the system of #migrantlabor in Canada, especially in terms of what was happening during COVID-19?" We need to look closer at the distribution and outreach for funding given to migrant workers.

🎧[Podcast] @tungohan, Jhoey Dulaca of @MWACCanada, and Chris Ramsaroop of @j4mw share the barriers and challenges #migrantworkers face once they are forced to move to Canada. Many leave their home countries for a better life, but actually face years apart from their loved ones.
