#FBF On Friday, 13 March 2026, the Premier of the Virgin Islands, the Hon. Dr Natalio Wheatley, paid a courtesy visit to the #CCJ President the Hon. Mr Justice Winston Anderson, during his trip to Trinidad and Tobago.

Yesterday, the #CCJ delivered reasons for its decision in a matter originating from #Guyana in which it allowed the appeal, and remitted the matter to the High Court of Guyana to be heard before a different Judge. Learn more here: loom.ly/1BfnAxg

On 16 March 2026, CCJ President, Hon. Mr Justice Anderson, proposed an International Climate Injuries Compensation (ICIC) Fund to compensate for harm from extreme weather events at the Inter-American Seminar on Climate Emergency & Human Rights. Learn more: loom.ly/KcL-K6E

#CCJ President, Hon. Mr Justice Winston Anderson, is in Brazil (14–18 March) at the invitation of #IACtHR President, Hon. Mr Justice Rodrigo Mudrovitsch, for their 187th Ordinary Period of Sessions. As part of the visit, both Presidents signed an MOU between the two courts.
