@GodzParadox It’s not disingenuous. This is like when white people try to downplay bigoted preferences. Just realize you have a prejudice and move on. No one is forcing you to date bi people but stop trying to act like it isn’t phobic.

I think what a lot of the gay / queer community fails to realize is that straight people are straight. They’re at one fixed end of the spectrum as it pertains to sexuality and romantic interest. It’s extremely disingenuous to frame their fixed position as being phobic because they are literally straight and have no interest in queerness as their orientation is fixed.

I can acknowledge that me not wanting to date a bisexual man is rooted in homophobia.
