I went into #TheOdyssey genuinely WANTING to have my mind changed & hoping for the best. Unfortunately the movie is worse then I expected, which is saying something. A complete let down across the board, rarely evoking emotion outside of scenes involving Odysseus's poor dog.

The moment has arrived #TheOdysseyMovie

From a script+direction standpoint, this movie needs a lot of work. But the objective truth of the message shines through, despite its flaws. Give us a sequel with a bigger budget & some John Wick style action choreography. #CitizenVigilante

The era of the cynical "deconstruct the hero" story is dying. It's tired, worn out, and—worst of all— poison to the soul. Anyone in Hollywood looking for what will move the needle in culture over the next 10 years, here's your template:

#Pitfall is a backwoods Survival-Thriller. I was expecting Wrong Turn, except instead of the deformed inbred hillbillies, you know just a regular killer hillbilly. It was so laughably, film student bad I almost turned it off. Final Destination's Richard Harmon is wasted here.

#Nashville deserves SO MUCH more recognition. The acting is top notch 👌 the music is better than most stuff playing on the radio 🎶 Does it feel like a soap opera with a country music themed overlay? Yes...but it works! 🤠 👢

Disclosure Day is meant to shake Christians faith. You would think they would make their anti-christian propaganda piece exciting/persuasive.. they don't. Go watch Signs instead. It does the opposite, while simultaneously crafting an immersive, entertaining story. ✝️ 👽

We've been spoiled for horror so far this year with Obsession/Hokum and Backrooms (which I've yet to see, but I hear is good?) The winning streak has come to an end with #Scarymovie6 Rarely funny, plus it does the worse thing a movie can do, bore me. Spoiler review up on YT.

Keir Starmer called the ‘Unite the Kingdom’ rally “extremist" and "Islamophobic." He then went on to ban people from entering the UK. Looks like that didn't work out so well for him. The people have spoken.

I miss shows like these. Modern tv's shorter length means a lack of filler episodes, that helped us get to know characters on a deeper level. Give me overarching storylines, with monster of the week episodes, deeper character arcs and a more physical, less connected lifestyle.

@aldonvz_ Well made movies dealing with obsession. Obviously not all with a supernatural twist, but just off the top of my head. Misery/Fatal Attraction/One Hour Photo/The Crush/The Talented Mr Ripley/ Phantom of the Opera/ The Invisible Man.

Every time a new Blumhouse Horror movie is made, the Gods toss a coin in the air, and the world holds it's breath while they see how it will land. #Obsession is tense/fun, definitely a movie to see in theatres with a crowd. But not groundbreaking. You've seen this movie before.
