@AstroMikeMerri @neiltyson Just watched your @sixtysymbols Gamma videos again. 😀 Forty odd years ago, I spent months trying to make a more QM friendly version work with tensors and nearly lost the plot. You get gamma, etc, in only a few lines, but beyond that, the virtual observer breaks.

Personally, I always docked marks from any students who presented a right-wing solution to the particle-in-a-box quantum system, or who wore a blue rosette to the relativity exam.

I don't like the schrodinger version where the history of the cat in the box is generated when you open the box. So, if the cat is dead, you can find out when it died.

@samlittlewood @cr1901 Most of the time, things in Starfox only rotate on a single axis to simplify the maths.

@cr1901 @CarlNGraham Any euler angle transformation has an order in which the axes are applied (one of 12? possibilites). amd the middle axes will be neither fish nor fowl. Eg for the common Roll/Pitch/Yaw - Roll is always relative to vehicle - Yaw is always relative to world, and Pitch is neither!

@dylancuthbert Hi Dylan! I hope all is well! This is low priority, but... got nerdsniped into thinking about late 80s/early 90s 3d gfx again. What resources (books/textbooks) do you remember using to learn 3d gfx in that time period? Were quats common for rotation by then?

I am still working on videos to get feedback on some of my strange theories . The problem is that everything boils down to thermodynamics. If entropy doesn't increase, it doesn't happen. Unless i can somehow make entropy interesting, only feedback back I will get is snoring 😴

@cr1901 Last time, someone's little claws ripped up my old silicone mat trying to help with the screws. Luckily, I have a large magnetic that is great for finding them.
