Fire in the Sky (1993) deserves more love; it’s one of the smartest alien‑abduction movies ever made. Those final 15 minutes, with Travis treated like a lab rat, are pure nightmare fuel. This film stuck with me for years. If you’ve seen it, you'll know why. If not… watch it.

As you may have heard, “The Thing” has been added to the Library of Congress. We made the movie to push against the edges of what we could pull off, and it carries that strain in its bones. Seeing it now treated with the same care and reverence we had making it means a great deal to me and everyone who brought it to life. I especially want to remember TK Carter, who brought heart and humor into that desolate, frozen place and should be standing here with us today sharing in this recognition.  Thank you to everyone who continues to keep it alive.

When filming the og STAR WARS trilogy, Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) would really speak to Harrison Ford in the scenes - so when Solo is reacting, he's reacting to actual dialogue and not just wookie sounds. This is *hilarious* I'm gonna need an entirely new Special Edition.

This is absolutely mind-bending. By locking the camera to a fixed point in the sky rather than the ground, this stunning timelapse perfectly visualizes Earth's rotation.🌍🌌 It really puts our movement through space into perspective.
