So now I’m told my liver cancer is “incurable” - so my days are numbered but only God who gave me life knows how many they may be because the date of my passing has already been set & no one can change it. However I will still pray “Heavenly Father, heal my wounds. Only you can”.

Today confirmed, liver cancer. Heavenly Father, heal my wounds 🙏

“…you whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.” Isaiah 46:3-6

And so now I wait!

After seven weeks at home. I had blood tests on Friday which revealed the presence of cancer and a significant anomaly in one of my liver function levels. Got called in this morning for this drip and I have an abdominal CAT scan booked for tomorrow. Oh well…

I’m so sorry to read this. I’m sorry you are suffering my friend! I hate #cancer.

@BSBreastCancer Saw oncologist last week. Too much time elapsed for chemo. Depending on results of CAT scan on Sept 10 a decision will be taken about chemo or 3 monthly checks. Pancreas removal is already life limiting. Feeling so unwell don’t think I’ll be around long. Let God’s will be done.

Cancer is one of the loneliest places I've ever had to visit. Call your friend with #cancer or #breastcancer today. Take 5 minutes out of your day to just ask how they're doing. How their docs are going and how their family is doing.

What a difference a day makes!

I’m out, after three and a half months, discharged to home care. Chemotherapy to follow but for now it feels good.

Today is my dear dad’s 96 birthday and he came and visited me in hospital. He rarely goes out so I was so happy to see him. I love him so much and I consider myself truly blessed to still have him and my 93 year old mum in my life.
