This week, I joined nearly 300 TD Vision In Action recipients in Toronto to celebrate legendary contributions and achievements in support of the customers, clients and communities we serve. I am beyond humbled and honoured to receive this once-in-a-career achievement 💚

On Friday after afternoon a group of #DoGooders assembled 266 backpacks as part of this years #BackInClass campaign! Because of the generosity of @TD_Canada colleagues, over the last 15 years we have filled over 9,000 backpacks 🎒supporting economically disadvantaged children 💚

#BackInClass backpacks are discreetly distributed to financially disadvantaged students through their school principals in partnership with the @TVDSB , @LDCSB , & First Nations schools across the region. Students have them before school starts to ensure a great first day!

The #BackInClass initiative began with $100 of seed money from the Fairy Godmother program to come up with an idea to pay it forward. The idea was backpacks for underprivileged children. Help make a difference by visiting community.unitedwayem.ca/comm/ArticleAr…
