CA-40 is ~87% Hispanic. Armed, masked ICE agents are stopping people, demanding proof of citizenship, and intimidating residents—including U.S. citizens. Ken Calvert stays silent. At the same time, he pushes voter ID, attempting to deter participation by the very 87% of the district he claims to represent—despite no evidence of in-person voter fraud in California. ICE intimidation + voter ID + silence = fewer voices, less accountability. That’s not representation. That’s Trump control. WAKE UP! We don’t want a Trump Candidate in our district!

Over 60 days into Donald Trump’s war, and Young Kim stays silent. No answers on the cost.
No accountability.
No leadership when it matters most. Instead, it’s distractions and fear-based talking points by scapegoating immigrants.   Voters see through your failing reelection campaign.  Come Election Day, they will  86  your Trump ass-sucking leadership at the ballot box.

Illegal aliens who drive under the influence have been granted second, third, & even fourth chances in our country. That’s unacceptable. My Stop Illegal Aliens Drunk Driving Act will fix this senseless loophole & ensure they get deported.

@KenCalvert More than 60 days into Donald Trump’s war, and Ken Calvert stays silent. No answers on cost, no accountability—just talking points about everything else. Americans deserve to know: how much will this war cost us, and why weren’t we given a say?

I wrote the bill that created e-Verify to give employers a free, easy to use tool to check the legal status of newly hired workers. I'm now leading the effort to make the use of e-Verify mandatory because I believe American jobs should only go to people legally in our country.

Ken Calvert can keep bragging about E-Verify, but here’s the truth: our economy depends on underpaid labor with few protections. Fix the wages and working conditions, and you change who takes those jobs overnight. But that would mean higher prices—so instead, they push tough talk and avoid the real conversation.

Ken Calvert is focused on high-speed rail while the country is dealing with something far bigger. We’re over 60 days into a war with Iran—one that Donald Trump chose to escalate. Costs are rising. Families are feeling it at the pump, at the grocery store, everywhere. And Calvert? Silent. If he won’t speak up on a war that’s hitting Americans in their wallets every day, then it’s time to “86” him out of office.

@RepYoungKim What you should be concerned about is Donald Trump’s immigration policies. With a stroke of a pen, you and your daughters will be ICE’d back to Korea or maybe an African Country.

CA hospice fraud gets more outlandish everyday — it’s like leaving the vault wide open while thieves walk out with wheelbarrows full of taxpayer dollars. $50 million here, $267 million there… & Sacramento does nothing. calmatters.org/commentary/202…

Blaming California policy is another Calvert distraction. What’s really driving oil prices right now? Global instability—tied to Donald Trump’s war with Iran. When conflict threatens major oil shipping routes and production in the Middle East, markets react immediately. Prices rise on uncertainty alone. That’s basic economics: geopolitical risk = higher oil prices. Calvert ignores that reality because it doesn’t fit the talking points.

Oil production in California continues to decline because of the high taxes and red tape Democrats in Sacramento have put in place. As a result, our state is increasingly dependent on foreign sources of oil. These policies threaten our economic and national security.

Radical liberals aren't the only ones using heated about President Trump. For the last 10 years, Young Kim has made it no secret she totally and completely hates Donald Trump and has fueled the out-of-control political rhetoric that has poisoned our politics.

Ken Calvert wants to talk about fraud in California while ignoring the much bigger drain on taxpayers happening right now. As of April 27, 2026 (Day 59), the U.S.–Israel conflict with Iran is ongoing, and Ken Calvert has said nothing. Not a word about a war that’s reportedly costing around $2 billion a day—money coming straight from American taxpayers. Where’s the outrage over that? Gavin Newsom isn’t the one sending billions overseas. Yet Calvert stays silent while Donald Trump drives a conflict many Americans never asked for and don’t support. That silence isn’t neutral—it’s enabling. And when the time comes, don’t be surprised when Calvert votes to keep the money flowing and the war going.

Ken Calvert talks about “protecting small businesses,” but where was that concern when Donald Trump launched a war of choice against Iran? That conflict has driven up fuel costs, disrupted global shipping, and made it far more expensive for small businesses just to keep their doors open. How many mom-and-pop businesses folded because they couldn’t absorb tariffs and war-driven price spikes? How many are still trying to recover? And let’s not forget—Calvert took $7,000 in PPP funds meant for struggling businesses during the pandemic. You can’t claim to champion small business while staying silent when policies—from tariffs to war—drive up their costs and push them under.

Donald Trump and Ken Calvert are quick to praise law enforcement when it protects them—but where was that support for Capitol Police on January 6? Those officers were beaten, crushed, and traumatized defending our democracy during the January 6 Capitol attack—an attack fueled by Trump’s own rhetoric. And instead of standing with those officers, Trump pardoned the very people who assaulted them and tried to overturn a lawful election. You don’t get to call violence “evil” only when you’re the target. Leadership means condemning it—every time, no exceptions.

I’m thankful President Trump and everyone attending the White House Correspondents Dinner tonight were not harmed. Our law enforcement heroes once again put themselves in harm’s way and acted bravely to keep others safe. So many people at the dinner, including President Trump, Majority Leader Steve Scalise, Erica Kirk, and others, have already had their lives touched by political violence. These acts of evil have no place in our democracy.

Calling this “uncommon courage” misses the point. Darrell Issa praising Donald Trump as a constant victim ignores a bigger truth: political violence doesn’t exist in a vacuum—it’s fueled by the rhetoric leaders choose to use. You don’t get to inflame division, normalize hostility, and then claim surprise when tensions rise. That’s not courage. That’s political theater. Real leadership lowers the temperature, even when it’s inconvenient. That’s the standard.

At today’s Tustin Area Republican Women Federated candidate forum, I explained that I’m the only consistent conservative in this race who has stood with President Trump to cut taxes, secure the border, and rebuild our military. I also pointed out I’m the only candidate who’s ever been endorsed by President Trump and is endorsed by Republican groups in Orange County.

Day 56 of the U.S.–Iran conflict (2026) under Donald Trump: 13 Americans killed. Hundreds wounded. Tens of billions burned. And Ken Calvert continues to push tired Republican talking points but no mention of Trump’s war. No acknowledgment of the dead. If you won’t speak on war, what exactly are you representing? No position, just BULLSHIT!

I’ve worked to provide President Trump the tools necessary to secure the border and stop illegal immigration. I delivered record-high funding for the National Guard's Counterdrug Program and funding to complete the border wall. That's why I continue to have President Trump's support.

Ken Calvert wants you to believe wildfires are caused by “radical environmentalists,” not climate, drought, or decades of bad land management. Now he’s cheering a bill like it’s some silver bullet. This is the same playbook as Donald Trump telling people to “rake the forests.” That’s not policy—that’s ignorance dressed up as leadership. If Ken Calvert is serious about wildfire prevention, where’s the investment in firefighters, modern infrastructure, and climate resilience? Where’s the plan that actually protects communities? Instead, it’s slogans, scapegoats, and photo ops. Maybe before handing out rakes, he should get his own facts in order.

We can't let radical environmentalists delay and deny vital wildfire prevention activities from taking place on our wildlands. I just voted with a majority of the House to pass the FIRE Act to facilitate prescribed burns and other approved wildfire mitigation efforts.

It’s time to retire the same old talking points—and the politicians still pushing them. Young Kim keeps selling slogans while families struggle with real costs—gas, rent, groceries. None of that gets fixed by repeating lines about the border or posing with Donald Trump “Jesus.” It’s not serious—and California voters aren’t buying it.

What’s happening with DOGE looks like a fraud in the making—built without clear safeguards or accountability. Where is the data going? Where is it stored? Who has access? How will it be used? These are basic questions, and yet there’s been no transparency from figures like Donald Trump or Elon Musk. And where is Young Kim in all of this? Silent. That’s not leadership—that’s ignoring a real risk to Americans’ privacy.

I came to Congress to fight for California families, not to watch our hard-earned taxpayer dollars get looted. Whether it’s hospice fraud or government waste, I will never stop pushing for stronger enforcement, smarter oversight, & real consequences for criminals. Let’s clean up Washington & Sacramento & restore trust for the American People.
