The Centre for Sport Coaching has been facilitating discussions on the professionalisation of sport coaching in a UK context. Here is a brief statement. There will likely be a follow up event summer 2024.

Finally, many thanks to the participants who engaged with the programme yesterday. We're still totting up the numbers but we guess it was c350 in total, with c200 sticking with most of the day. Thanks! Our next big event will be July 2022; look out for small events before then.

A big thanks to @donaldvinson for sharing his work using a 'value creation framework' to inform and guide coach developer development. This is an approach that is sensitive to the social complexities of adult learning through the concepts of situatedness and identity. Thanks Don
