@CarolPJ6 I couldn't disagree more. Generation Jones is such an awful name that I refuse to use it.
It also doesn't exactly line up with the years I have in mind. I'm thinking more of the last five years of the Boomers and the first five of GenX. So basically, born in the 60s.

We need a name for those born in the years overlapping the end of the Boomers and the start of GenX. Too late to be formed by the culture of the 60s, but who came into their own in the culture of the 80s. Generation Jones doesn't capture it, and the name sucks anyway.

Good news from the Oregon Zoo in the US! A critically endangered eastern black rhino was born last week to its loving mother, Jozi, who has been nursing & bonding with her newborn calf very well. Unfortunately, the western black rhino went extinct in 2011, and eastern black rhinos may not be too far behind. Illegal wildlife trade and poachers have wiped out about 96% of all black rhinos. Oregon Zoo worker Kelly Gomez says in regard to the newborn rhino, "In South Africa alone, we're losing almost a rhino a day. Hopefully, their story can help inspire a new chapter in the conservation of this incredible species." The Leslie Project also hopes to spread awareness and create positive change through donations funded within the memecase ecosystem.
