@Aboujahjah I was thinking the same here, when I heard about his possible killing. The most important person of a country is usually the most protected/hidden person. Something is not right.

If Khamenei were truly killed in his home in Tehran, it would suggest he did not attempt to evade it. It would imply that he accepted the possibility, perhaps even embraced the prospect, of a martyr’s end. There is no remarkable intelligence achievement in killing someone in their own residence. Only the foolish would frame it as such.
