You never notice power lines until you’re in the middle of a severe thunderstorm warning and then all of a sudden you hear yourself saying things like “I don’t like how clumped together those wires are” and “the pole is listing a bit.”

@NKFinney Ah yes - I’ve been known to indulge in that routine too.

I thrive on routine. For example, the routine of putting hand cream on before needing chap stick, then using my shirt sleeves to open the chap stick until the cap flies across the room and rolls under a dresser. Routine calms and frees me.
