@npparikh Ethics is a philosophically intuitive persuit. Can and should it be codified? Yes, of course. But we need more than just Tech Bros at the table. AI dev has a huge variety of stakeholders that must be heard to have a thorough picture of how to enshirne ethics into AI Policy.

Perhaps I should have been clearer about this. I obviously know plenty of people in AI ethics know this stuff. I could sit here all day naming them. But there are also people who don’t and I think it’s important to know how the stuff works. This isn’t about any specific person.
