@Alex_Bramley3@TheTraitorsUK Oh and we had shields too! I bought a set of 4 mini wooden chests from The Works and made a paper shield. Our armoury was actually the stationery cupboard!!!
@Alex_Bramley3@TheTraitorsUK Finally, with the last few, we held a live banishment in the staff room - that was tense! Luckily all of last year's winners were Faithfuls!
Each player paid £5 for the prize pot but in the end we put it in a kitty for a meal out for everyone.
I hope that all makes sense!
With all the excitement of @TheTraitorsUK final tonight I’ve decided to make a ‘School Edition’
Next week, my staff will discover their fate: a Faithful 💌 or a Traitor ☠️
The Traitors will aim to complete secret missions without being detected.
This could be fun!
@MrsM293 We did them on Wednesday lunchtime as that's the only day that all staff are in. This year it's mostly things that can be done at home (video/photo evidence posted on our RoundTable WhatsApp group) as more staff, including lunchtime/support staff, wanted to be involved!
@realmatbaynton All primary teachers I know share this same ethos and then SATS come along and children 'learn' that they need to be good enough to pass. So sad. 😢
@realmatbaynton I teach in a Primary school where mistakes are valued, even celebrated. Children need to take risks to make progress (let's be honest, if children are not making mistakes, they're not learning anything new they're just doing what they already know!)
