Reposting previous deleted tweet w/a correction: Just received the Air Fanta Wear Personal Wearable device ordered w/an affiliate code from @FullLaneFemme (a bday gift from generous in-laws). The build quality is so much nicer than I expected! Love it so far! I was a bit worried

ECONOMIC SHORTAGES It’s a bunch of bullshit. It’s a shortage. Like I get it. I respect it. But even if everyone gets affected. Like Yeah. People are gonna die. Which is terrible but like … inevitable ?

@esjesjesj Guy who thinks the impressive thing about greco-roman architecture in antiquity was the amount of pillars. We just need to add more pillars guys and it'll look imposing trust

@DiaryofaSickGrl Yes! I know what you mean about the toll it takes. I’ve had MCAS for 15+ years, and any kind of stress has always made it worse. So that’s a vicious cycle in itself: The more stress, the more reactions I have, and all the reactions are a kind of stress. It’s exhausting!

Thank you! I think last spring was better than the previous few too iirc so hopefully going forward I’m more stable year-round in general. That would be really nice. Because the several springs that were so severe it was scary were so hard mentally on top of physically. It really takes its toll be that close to anaphylaxis constantly and no matter how hard you try

I have passed a lot of (mostly food) trials lately and anyone with moderate-severe MCAS probably knows how big of a deal that is!! I’m very particular and calculated with what I trial so I think that helps. I need to branch out more still, but things that are more brand new are scarier. Like something that I haven’t had at all since before I got “the big sick” in 2020. For example, if I know I can have certain rice products so I trial another one, it’s just branching off of something I can have. And if there’s nothing in their processing or packaging or anything that makes me allergic then yay!

Both. It has slowly gotten less severe (which has taken a lot to get there) but I also recently started semaglutide and it seems like it could be helping. March is usually a rough month for me with reactions and I typically wouldn’t trial anything at all during spring unless it was very important.

Spraying just one dandelion with roundup will kill 100+ pollinators. The flower won't die right away and will be visited by dozens of bees and butterflies, poisoning them as well. NEVER spray spring dandelions. Ever.

Wearing the best mask you have access to is a great way to protect yourself & the people around you from multiple airborne illnesses. If you like your internal organs & plan to keep using them for a while, mask up.

@Rocket_Worm To me it feels like “here’s how to say safer, so let’s all please do that” gets mistranslated as “I don’t think that sounds enjoyable/I’m not interested in ever being included/you should never be allowed to have any fun,” or simply as “sad trombone sounds”
