In making Galaxy Eggs, Barkan was one of the first to prove ai art could be both conceptually daring and commercially viable at scale. Nearly 4 years later, Galaxy Eggs still ranks within the top 20 art NFT collections by all-time volume - outpacing Autoglyphs, The Memes, and all XCOPY collections. That’s remarkable, especially considering most people - even in these parts - have never heard of Gal Barkan or seen his work.
