Yesterday, these students qualified for the State DECA Competition—an outstanding accomplishment in the largest and most competitive district in the state. Having 38 members advance to state is not a reflection of just the Business Department, but of our entire FHN community. DECA events demand a wide skill set—persuasive writing, confident public speaking, strategic communication, math, creative design, problem-solving, and innovative thinking. These are skills developed every day in our classrooms and through daily interactions. Most importantly, success comes from the belief and confidence we instill in our students. When they know the adults around them truly believe in their potential, it changes what they believe is possible. Thank you to everyone in the FHN community.
