Why are people ignoring Messi’s scandalous career at both club and international level? He benefited from the Barcelona Negreira era, winning three Champions League titles during that period. At international level, the 2022 World Cup was filled with penalties and refereeing decisions that favored Argentina. Now he’s about to win another World Cup with FIFA’s help, and people pretend nothing is happening. He damaged his own reputation. Ronaldo’s legacy will always be clean and clear.

Most say he did not have possession after, but Salah touched the ball last, then tripped over the defender’s foot. I have seen these give more than not. Also if a player runs on the keeper and just pins the ball over and that ball is going out if play anyway, and then rolls over keepers hands is alway a penalty. Just ignore the colours and look at it from football side. Is it a penalty? Yes. Should be? Probably not, But then we have to look deeper into the rules. And also, what are you expecting Salah to say after the match? He is a professional player.
