@ShaunLintern Not directly, but in helping my own trainees with common problems like meibomian cysts, it's clear that many urgent ophthalmological services don't exist at all in the nhs and that patients are directed privately by a number of emergency providers.

Companies are supposed to manage complications but a leaked DHSC briefing said: "NHS A&E units are still reporting patients attending A&E for post-operative complications following [private] cataract surgery”. #patientsafety
